THE SNOW WAS GONE, BUT THE RALLY WENT ON! Wheeled vehicles appeared in place of the usual bobsleds, cutters and sleighs for this year's event, with the exception of one cutter on wheels. The lack of snow was disappointing, but there was not too much concern about getting cold, either. Period dress of furs and feathers could still be found, and there was a good selection of singles and teams pulling various types of two- and four-wheeled vehicles.
