The annual camping event moved from South Dakota to Wisconsin, for this year. Everyone agreed that the new Trade River Horse Campground in Governor Knowles State Forest was beautiful, comfortable and would be worth a return trip in the future. The weather was cool, and rain was predited for the first day of the driving/camping event, but the sun came out and drivers, passengers and horses enjoyed a beautiful first day, wandering down sandy roads of the beautiful Wisconsin landscape. There were a number of rigs with various types of camping accommodations, and picnic tables and folding chairs for food and conversation. A surprise birthday celebration was even part of the activities.
