Spectacular colors combined with perfect weather to proide a wonderful backdrop for a drive, or a walk, through the beautiful woods and fields of west-central Wisconsin. Three teams went out pulling wagons, and one training cart stayed behind, due to tire pressure issues. However, that did not stop those who were not riding on rigs from enjoying the beautiful countryside. The horses left behind in the pasture were very friendly, and wanted a little attention, too. Several attendees went hiking or lead-line riding down to a cabin in the valley, and then to the hill cabin where Ned and his stopped to give the horses a rest before heading back for the potluck.
