The weather forcast predicted rain and then extreme heat (mid-90's), so the drive was switched to only a potluck and good conversation. Ned Hahn ended up bringing his Dutch Harness Horse, Buck, and a 4-passanger vehicle, anyway, and ended up giving carriage rides to all the attendees. The weather ended up being ideal for driving ... cool, with clouds and a nice breese ... and NO rain. As we drove by a heard of cows, there was a small stampede from the mud hole alongside the road. Lunch was delicious with a wonderful assortment of salads and desserts. Buck went out after lunch with attendees who had not made the pre-lunch ride.
