It was a warm September day and a great turnout for the drive at the Trade River Picnic Area and Camp Ground in Govornor Knowles State Forest in Wisconsin. Three single-horse hitches and one draft team traveled around the sandy roads in the Trade River area. A number of members and guests showed up later for the potluck. Tables and chairs appeared and were set up in the shade of the trees, with a nice view of the Trade River.
