With very hot weather (in the 90's) predictions for the day, not many members showed up for the drive at the Lazy K Ranch near Kenyon MN. However, Bryan invited 4 young men from an Amish community in southern Minnesota to drive and ride several horses in training, that will be going to auction in the fall. Two teams, two single-horse hitches and a an out-rider went out on the roads around near the Hagen farm. All of the horses were very well behaved, and a decent breeze kept the temperature from feeling too uncomfortable. After the horses were unhitched and taken care of, everyone enjoyed a very nice potluck, and good conversation.
