The day started out with a heavy fog, but it burned off by our hitch time. This was a well-attended drive with fourteen members and one guest. There was plenty of room for all drivers and passengers with two draft teams, one Fjord team and two single-horse hitches. We drove through the quiet roads of St. Joseph township in Wisconsin, enjoying early signs of fall along the way and a stop at the Bass Lake Cheese Factory. The drive was followed by a delicious potluck lunch, good conversation and our monthly meeting.
