The drive at Bryan and Mary Hagens was threatened by predictions of heat (mid 90's) and humidity, with high chances of rain. This likely resulted in a small turnout of only five people, but two vehicles went out, anyway, although a bit later than originally planned. The weather cooperated for the drive and stayed in the low 80's due to the clouds. The horses all were given showers after the drive, and participants enjoyed a nice potluck and good conversation in Hagen's air-conditioned dining room.
